- Born in Liverpool and raised in Bootle, I come from a working class and quite political family. I am on the 'left' of the political spectrum and I'm a member of the Labour Party. I also adhere to a philosophy called existentialism, in the hope of making educated and well informed decisions, rather than expressing bigoted and dogmatic ideological preference. I have a BA Honours in Politics and a Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool. I'm in the Royal Navy. I might become a teacher/ lecturer at some point and will probably always be politically active; motivated, and perhaps hampered, by a genuine desire of making the world a more fair and equal place.
