I am sitting in Sunny-less Carmarthenshire, watching Cardiff getting beat my Sheffield UTD. I am missing my lovely, but I am anticipating her return and indeed my return to Liverpool. My obsession with my City is growing as the literature is helping expand my mind. Merseyside is the centre of the Universe and Scousers are, (as my Nan put's it) the 'salt of the earth!'.
Although somewhat dissapointed at my absence from Sonisphere, I am in eager anticipation at seeing Blink, Limp Bizkit, Paramore, You me at Six etc at Leeds Fest. I am also looking forward to starting my PhD, my lil date, away matches, and even finding a decent Job. (No Mrs Jobcentre plus lady, I will not accept the shitty jobs you find for me and will forward half assed applications highlighting my worse qualities, thus will find a job I will enjoy). I am also looking forward to gaining teaching experience in KGV. Yes everything remains to be rosey. I g2g Food has arrived :D

I love that you're so enthusiastic about Liverpool. It's a fine city, and I hope to return one day, but who knows - the world is a big place. If not, it will certainly hold a special place in my heart forever though.
ReplyDeleteKD, I've come here with an ulterior motive (not just to go on about how great Liverpool is) WHY THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU NOT REPLY TO MY FB MESSAGE RE. MONDAY CLUB REUNION?!!? Did we mean that little to you, all those monday afternoons spent sweating in that god awful law building? Being the only people who really got Kevin Hickson's nerdy political jokes? Can you really have forgotten about us so soon now you have a PHD in your sights?

:O I am uncertain whether this was really serious or jokey. I love both the Monday Club and Kevin Hickson and am aware that I have not spent enough time with either my friends or my loved social networking sight as late. Every time I log onto fb i have like 30 off new notifications (in truth I haven't been checking them). Believe when I say I have got a lot on (see most recent blog entry) I hope we can all catch up soon. In the meantime have an epic time in America :) kd xx
